Double shooting in Elmwood Place leaves 1 in critical condition

ELMWOOD PLACE, Ohio (WKRC) - Two people were shot in Elmwood Place early Wednesday.

It happened at Locust Street near Vine just after midnight.

Officers on the scene found a 26-year-old man and 28-year-old woman who were shot.

Both were taken to the hospital.

The man is in critical condition.

The woman was released.

Police believe the shooting wasn't a random act and the public is in no further danger.

No description of the suspects was given but police said three people were seen running from the scene.
